This is an image taken at the John Lennon wall in Prague in the Czech Republic. It is a graffiti wall devoted to messages of peace and love and inspiration. The wall is about 30 feet high.
The graffiti on the wall is normally constantly changing. However, when I visited it in November 2019, the wall had been repainted with John Lennon's image and messages that say "All you need is" and then the word love is spelt out in many different languages. Very beautiful.
The wall dates back to the 1980s when Czechoslovakia was under an oppressive communist regime. Students would come to the wall and write graffiti messages about peace and love to counter the authoritarian nature of their government.
The wall actually encloses a garden owned by the Knights of Malta. Another interesting fact is that John Lennon never actually went to Prague in his lifetime.
This photograph was taken with a professional Leica medium format camera. The superb quality and high resolution of the camera guarantees that you get the the highest image quality possible. The watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture does not appear on the final print.
