This is the famous Starry Night painting by Vincent Van Gogh. The full title of this painting is "Starry Night St-Remy".
When Van Gogh painted this famous picture in 1889, he evoked images of his night strolls in the south of France. His objective was to visualize and paint images of the deep blue sky "flooded with clouds of a blue deeper than the fundamental blue of intense cobalt" and where the stars sparkled like gems.
He accomplished it in this extraordinary painting, which shows glowing stars, a golden crescent moon and swirling blue clouds highlighting the heavens.
The left side of the painting is framed by a deep green cypress tree - Van Gogh's favourite type of tree. In the foreground is the village of St-Remy.
This image was created by photographing the original painting with a professional high-definition Leica camera. It is not a copy from the internet. With the exceptional photography and exacting standards of color, this guarantees that you get the finest quality possible.
