Sunsets are so amazing in Hawaii. The combination of clear Pacific air and the isolated nature of the Hawaiian Islands results in incredible sunsets. Even the clouds seem to radiate a special glow in this image.

If you look closely at this picture, you can see two surfers who are just climbing out of the water. You can also see people standing on the peninsula watching the sunset.

This image won best travel image in a major photography contest. The prize for winning the contest was a trip for two to the Caribbean, including airfare. Also, if you go on Google Image Search and search under "hawaiian sunset" this picture ranks at the top.
