Description
In the Meadow by Pierre-Auguste Renoir 1892
Renoir painted a number of outdoor scenes of young girls engaged in leisure activities. These were very popular pictures in Paris in the 1890s. In this painting, two girls are picking flowers.
This painting shows Renoir's flowing brushstrokes combined with luminous pastel colors. It helped cement his reputation as a great painter.
This image was created by photographing the original painting with a professional high-definition Leica camera. If you look closely, you can see the individual brushstrokes in the painting. It is not a copy from the internet. With the exceptional photography and exacting standards of color, this guarantees that you get the finest quality possible.
The watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture does not appear on the final print.
