I visited this elephant training ground near Jaipur, India. I attended with a local photographer, who had to receive special permission just for us to visit the elephants.
One thing I learnt while I was watching the elephants is that in India, people should be careful around all elephants, but especially careful around elephants that have bells around their neck, such as this female elephant in the foreground. Elephants with bells tend to be the ones that are a little crazy. The bell acts as a warning for people because the bell will make a sound whenever the elephant moves.
