Artist's Description
This a nighttime image of a tram in Prague in the Czech Republic. Prague has an extensive network of trams. This particular one dates from the 1970s.
I like the way this image captures the feel and effect of the tram as it glides down the street at night. The reflection of the streetlight over the tram castes an interesting glow onto the tram as it sits at the corner waiting for the light to change. Most of the people on the tram look like they are heading home after a long day at work. This image was taken about half an hour after sunset.
