This is a beautiful panoramic view of the main reading room at the Library of Congress.
Officially, the Library of Congress is the research library for the United States Congress. However, over the years, it has become the national library of the country. The main building sits on Capital Hill and has a viewing gallery that is open to visitors. The main reading room (shown in this picture) is only open to academic researchers.
The Library of Congress is the second largest library in the world after the British Library.
