Description
Toronto Skyline by Miles Whittingham
This picture of the Toronto skyline was taken in the spring as a storm was building over the city. Strong storms sometimes move through Toronto because it sits on the edge of Lake Ontario, which is a large cold lake. The warm spring air combined with the cold lake water can cause dark clouds and strong winds to form over the city.
These ominous looking clouds were just north of the downtown core of Toronto, while the waterfront was still in the light. This picture was taken from one of the Toronto islands. About five minutes after I took this picture, the wind really picked up and it began to rain heavily.
This photograph was taken with a professional Leica medium format camera. The superb quality and high resolution of the camera guarantees that you get the the highest image quality possible. The watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture does not appear on the final print.
Prints are produced on acid-free paper using archival inks to guarantee they last a lifetime without fading or loss of contrast, colour or tone.
This image can be ordered as a print in any format. It would look particularly good printed on acrylic, which would give it a high-end look. Prints can be ordered up to 8 feet wide.
