Description
The Gulf of Marseilles Seen from L'Estaque 1885 by Paul Cezanne
Cezanne was impressed with the fishing village of L'Estaque, France. Located on the Gulf of Marseilles in the Mediterranean Seas, Cezanne said L'Estaque was "like a playing card. Red roofs over blue sea... The sun is so terrific here that it seems to me as if the objects were silhouetted not only in black and white, but in blue, red, brown and violet".
This image was created by photographing the original painting with a professional high-definition Leica camera. If you look closely, you can see the individual brushstrokes in the painting. It is not a copy from the internet. With the exceptional photography and exacting standards of colour, this guarantees that you get the finest quality possible.
The watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture does not appear on the final print.
Prints are produced on acid-free paper using archival inks to guarantee they last a lifetime without fading or loss of contrast, colour or tone.
If you chose to order a framed print, the framing is done to museum quality with archival matting. The frame is wired and comes with a wall hook. It is ready to hang on the wall.
