Description
Sunflower by Vincent Van Gogh
This is one of Van Gogh's famous sunflower paintings. It was painted in late summer 1887 in Paris.
The powerful sunflower done in shades of saffron, lemon and gold is offset against a cobalt blue background.
The painter Gaugain so admired Van Gogh's sunflower paintings that he tried to convince Van Gogh that they should be Van Gogh's signature piece.
This image was created by photographing the original painting with a professional high-definition Leica camera. This guarantees that you get the finest quality possible. The watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture does not appear on the final print.
Prints are produced on acid-free paper using archival inks to guarantee they last a lifetime without fading or loss of contrast, colour or tone.
If you chose to order a framed print, the framing is done to museum quality with archival matting. The frame is wired and comes with a wall hook. It is ready to hang on the wall.
