Description
Stumps and Sky by Emily Carr
In this painting, Carr laments the impact of logging upon the land. In her diary, she compared the barren land to that of a cemetery. Only the sky shows vitality in this painting.
This image was created by photographing the original painting with a professional high-definition Leica camera. If you look closely, you can see the individual brushstrokes in the painting. It is not a copy from the internet. With the exceptional photography and exacting standards of color, this guarantees that you get the finest quality possible.
The watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture does not appear on the final print.
