This is beautiful view of Rockefeller Centre at night. The building was lit up with search lights. The top of Saint Patrick's Cathedral is in the foreground.
Rockefeller Center is between 48th and 51st Street in midtown Manhattan. It was built during the Great Depression in an Art Deco style. At the time, it was the largest private construction project in the world, consisting of a total of 14 buildings. For anyone visiting New York City, Rockefeller Center is a must-stop both for the NBC Universal studios in the building and the public viewing platform at the top of the building.
This image of the Rockefeller Center at night was taken from a building on Madison Avenue. In this picture, I like how the search lights on the building give it an almost ethereal look.
