Description
Portrait of Hermine Gallia by Gustav Klimt
In Vienna, Gustav Klimt had a steady clientele of wealthy Viennese women who wanted him to paint their portrait. This portrait of Hermine Gallia was done in 1904.
What is interesting about this portrait is that Klimt also designed the dress that Gallia wore in the picture. The subtle colours in the painting and the rich decorative frills of the dress are classic Klimt.
This image was created by photographing the original painting with a high-definition Leica camera. This guarantees that you get the finest quality possible. The watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture does not appear on the final print.
Prints are produced on acid-free paper using archival inks to guarantee they last a lifetime without fading or loss of contrast, colour or tone.
If you chose to order a framed print, the framing is done to museum quality with archival matting. The frame is wired and comes with a wall hook. It is ready to hang on the wall.
