Olive Trees at Collioure by Henri Matisse
Collioure is a scenic village in southern France on the Mediterranean coast. Over the years, it has drawn many famous painters including Matisse.
This is one of Matisse's most important Fauve period paintings. Adopting unnatural, almost surreal colors in an olive orchard, Matisse uses the light to its best effect.
This image was created by photographing the original painting with a professional high-definition Leica camera. This guarantees that you get the finest quality possible. The watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture does not appear on the final print.
Prints are produced on acid-free paper using archival inks to guarantee they last a lifetime without fading or loss of contrast, colour or tone.
If you chose to order a framed print, the framing is done to museum quality with archival matting. The frame is wired and comes with a wall hook. It is ready to hang on the wall.
