Description
Nude Woman with a Towel by Edgar Degas
This is perhaps Degas' most sensual nude. To emphasis her feminine form, Degas used a technique involving smudging and scraping the pastel to create a sense of movement. It looks as if the woman was just about to lift up the towel to cover herself up.
Notice also how her red hair is gently draped over her left breast.
This image was created by photographing the original pastel with a professional high-definition Leica camera. With the exceptional photography and exacting standards of color, this guarantees that you get the finest quality possible.
The watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture does not appear on the final print.
Prints are produced on acid-free paper using archival inks to guarantee they last a lifetime without fading or loss of contrast, colour or tone.
If you chose to order a framed print, the framing is done to museum quality with archival matting. The frame is wired and comes with a wall hook. It is ready to hang on the wall.
