This 1955 Soviet poster extolls the virtues of communism. It says "Glory to the Great Soviet People - The Builders of Communism".
Notice the orientation of people and images in the poster. It leads on the left projecting Soviet industrial might then transitions to the beautiful muscular woman working in a factory. This is followed by a woman holding her prodigy, followed by representations of agriculture and aerospace (notice the boy holding a futuristic aeroplane). This is then followed by images of various minorities across the Soviet Union. Finally, the bolt of pink cloth serves as a visual metaphor to tie all the various groups together.
