Description
**Watermark Not on Final Print**
In 1909, Matisse received a commission from a wealthy Russian businessman to create a decorative image depicting dance.
Notice how Matisse managed to capture the essence of dancers in motion by focussing on the primordial movement of the nude female figure.
Matisse essentially combined the same figure into five different poses organized in a ring. This allowed a 360 degree view of the sensual nude female form.
This image was created by photographing the original painting with a professional high-definition Leica camera. This guarantees that you get the finest quality possible. The watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture does not appear on the final print.
Prints are produced on acid-free paper using archival inks to guarantee they last a lifetime without fading or loss of contrast, colour or tone.
If you chose to order a framed print, the framing is done to museum quality with archival matting. The frame is wired and comes with a wall hook. It is ready to hang on the wall.
