Description
This is the gear mechanism that drives the clock in the main tower of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague.
The original part of this clock mechanism dates from 1541. Since then, the clock has undergone several major modifications including in the years 1688 and 1733. In 2014, the clock was totally cleaned and refurbished.
After all these years, it still works beautifully.
