At the Lapin Agile by Pablo Picasso
This is one of Picasso's most celebrated works. It is considered to be an iconic image of bohemian Paris in the early 1900s.
In this painting, Picasso depicts himself as a harlequin. The woman behind him was his recent lover Germaine Pichot.
The man who commissioned the painting is seen playing the guitar in the background. He owned a cabaret in Paris called Le Lapin Agile, which is also the title of the painting. In English, this translates as The Agile Rabbit.
This image was created by photographing the original painting with a professional high-definition Leica camera. If you look closely, you can see the individual brushstrokes in the painting. It is not a copy from the internet. With the exceptional photography and exacting standards of colour, this guarantees that you get the finest quality possible.
The watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture does not appear on the final print.
Prints are produced on acid-free paper using archival inks to guarantee they last a lifetime without fading or loss of contrast, colour or tone.
If you chose to order a framed print, the framing is done to museum quality with archival matting. The frame is wired and comes with a wall hook. It is ready to hang on the wall.
